Belgium, Europe: A health personnel from Thimphu, Bhutan, Ugyen Utse Tshering, shared the update of his trip to Belgium with his friends. He mentioned a journey is best measured in friends rather than miles.
He took to his official social media and shared a glimpse of the trip to Belgium, and highlighted in the statement, “After enduring through the week in, week out of exams and assignments for last four months, we ventured into a week-long adventure in the beautiful cities of Belgium.”
They started with the undisputed diamond city of the world, Antwerp, which is located in the Northern part of the country. Along with this, they had a day-long trip to the historical city of Ghent.
On the third day, we had a wonderful time at the de facto capital of Europe, Brussels. They are looking forward to more such memories which they will cherish for life.
Along with this, Ugyen Utse Tshering has already travelled to so many countries, and he shares all of the experience through his official social media posts.
The port city on Belgium’s River Scheldt is the largest in the globe. Antwerp comes second while ranking in Europe as well as within the top 20 globally. Moreover, it is also known as the hub of the diamond trade of the world.
The World Cities Research and Globalisation rated Antwerp as a Gamma + (third level/top tier) Global City.
