Greece: Alexis Tsipras, President of SYRIZA, a political party in Greece, shared a video of Parliament in which the Prime Minister of the Hellenic Republic, Kyriakos Mitsotakis, left the room without giving an answer to the critical issue raised by Alexis Tsipras.
While sharing the image of him leaving the Parliament, Alexis Tsipras highlighted, “Today’s image of him leaving Parliament will haunt the Prime Minister forever.”
He mentioned in the statement that he expressed his deepest concern after the discussion in Parliament. “Because I asked the Prime Minister the crucial question to answer if the Armed Forces leaders were being monitored by the EYP, as well as he made sure not to answer but also to leave the room.”
These are the critical moments. Moreover, the issue concerns the core of national security. “We do not play with the national security of the country.”
The image of the Prime Minister leaving the room without giving an answer to this critical issue will haunt him forever as well as what he committed against Democracy.
On the other hand, Alexis Tsipras questioned Mitsotakis, “Answer me, Mitsotakis, we don’t play with national security: Has there been a surveillance order for the Chief of the Armed Forces and the Chief of the Army General Staff?”
The last refuge and characteristic of the guilty and those who want to steal the vote of the Greek people is the divisive political word and patriotism.

For months there have been constant revelations, not from one journalist but from too many, both in the international press and domestically. From newspapers that criticize the government but also those that do not criticize the government, such as “Step” and “News”. There have been reports revealing the collaboration – the single centre – of the illegal software with the EYP and the monitoring conducted by the EYP.
Why are you not proceeding with lawsuits? It has been revealed that a number of your Ministers, executives, and MPs of the ruling party were either monitored through illegal software or through the EYP.ย
Nobody had the balls – and you didn’t encourage either – to sue? Why really? Because if you sued, Mitsotakis, you would legalize every journalist to provide evidence because you would make him an accused. You don’t file lawsuits not because you’re superior but because you’re trembling at the evidence you know is there and will emerge. This is why you are terrified of 10 years in prison.
I invite you tomorrow morning to go with the providers to see: Has there been a surveillance order concerning the Chief of the Armed Forces? The Chief of the General Staff of the Army? Your ministers? Are you coming to go? We don’t play with National Security.
