Banbridge, United Kingdom: A charity organisation, Hiking For Little Heroes, Kilimanjaro, are raising money for the Children’s Cancer Unit and Angel Wishes, shared about the set off their new challenge to climb Mount Kilimanjaro.
They took to their official social media account and highlighted in the statement, “Today’s the big day that we set off for our challenge to climb Mount Kilimanjaro, but our challenge is more than just climbing a mountain.”
Hiking for Little Heroes has spent this past two years raising money for Children’s Cancer charities across Northern Ireland to thank them for the amazing work they do for looking after little heroes that have their own battles and challenges every day and also supporting their families.
At the forefront of Hiking for Little Heroes has been our own wee hero Adam Watson. Adam, Sara and David have been Integral parts of our group, and it has been a privilege to do our bit to thank those charities that have supported them.
They stated that, sadly, Adam passed away on the 3rd of August this year and that it would be an honour to complete this challenge in his name. This morning before we get ready to go, they found it fitting to lay a florat tribute for Adam at his grave, safe in the arms of Jesus.
On the other hand, in the other update of Hiking For Little Heroes, Kilimanjaro, they shared the information on the massive thanks to the Portadown Football Club Official for their continued support and donations towards our charity fundraising for Children’s Cancer Charities across Northern Ireland.
