Roseau, Dominica: The Sports Division shared an update about the ongoing preparations of sporting activities at the Windsor Park Stadium on Thursday.
They shared a video through their official social media account and highlighted in the statement that on court number one, students were preparing for the Caribbean Youth Netball Tournament.
All of the students were busy going through their drills whilst on court number three, boys from the St. Marys Academy were engaged in volleyball drills as part of the Sports Division pre-competition training.
Additionally, the national anthem can be heard, signalling the start of the Nature Isle T10 Cricket Tournament on the main field.
On the other hand, the girls are putting in their hard work, and the Sports Division is continuing with preparations for Dominica’s preparations for Dominica’s participation at the 2023 Regional Under 16 Netball Tournament.
Along with this, the students of the Convent High School are involved in the Sports Division Volleyball pre competition training.
The holidays are on the way but the students are still preparing for the tournament. The Sports Division has organised a one-week football camp for primary school students in the West Central district, and the camp is being held at Lindo Park in Goodwill.
The students are preparing for the Primary Schools Football Championship in January 2023.

- The Sports Division continues with preparation for Dominica’s participation at the 2023 Caribbean Under 16 Netball Tournament.
Moreover, the nation started the preparation for participation in the year 2023 Regional Netball Tournament (Under 16), with training periods at the Windsor Park Stadium.
At the start of the month, the Division urged more than 30 students from its school’s netball programme to participate in the training.
The Regional Netball Tournament will occur in the Caribbean nation from March 24 to April 3, 2023.
