In Iceland, the Rescue groups have discovered the dead bodies of all of the four individuals in the incident of the plane crash in the lake, which was also carrying travellers from the USA, the Netherlands as well as Belgium.
Moreover, all the people were on the sight-seeing journey. The Cessna aircraft 172 was found in the second-largest Lake of Iceland, Thingvallavat, on Friday, at the time of 11 p.m.
As per the information provided by the Icelandic Coast Guard in the statement, Cessna 172 was discovered in the area of the lake nearby about 30 miles to 50 miles east of Reykjavik.
However, over 1,000 fellows of Iceland’s Search and Rescue organization, with the help of the boats, divers, as well as two Icelandic Coast Guard helicopters, were looking out for the plane in the Thingvellir National Park area during the extreme weather condition.
Meanwhile, On Thursday, the plane (Cessna 172) took off from the domestic airport in the capital of Iceland, Reykjavík, as it was booked for a two-hour sight-seeing trip. Afterwards, the pilot of the plane was not able to contact the aviation authorities as it was not able to receive the signal.
Additionally, the pilot named Haraldur Diego 49-year-old and was considered as one of the most renowned aviators of Iceland, and he was a frontiersperson of the photography trips.
