Recently, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention in CDC has updated it’s guidelines for Covid-19. CDC states that the people who have received their all the shots vaccinated against Covid-19 can now forgo their masks and social distancing in many indoor situations.
On Thursday, the Director of CDC, Dr. Rochelle Walensky said, “Today, CDC is updating our guidance for fully vaccinated people.” This announcement was done at a White House Covid-19 briefing.
She warned the citizens of America by further elaborating that the ones who are vaccinated but yet develop the symptoms have to mask up and get tested.
Thus, there are often many chances that the pandemic situations can even devastate. This would lead the nation to return to pieces of the earlier guidance.
She said, “Anyone who is fully vaccinated, can participate in indoor and outdoor activities, large or small, without wearing a mask or physical distancing. If you are fully vaccinated, you can start doing the things that you had stopped doing because of the pandemic.”
Rochelle also said it’s safe for vaccinated people to be without mask in indoor settings that may have unvaccinated people, such as at a concert.
She further said, “The science demonstrates that if you are fully vaccinated, you are protected. ” Also, she mentioned that it is the people who are not fully vaccinated in those settings, who might not be wearing a mask, who are not protected. And it is those people that we are encouraging to get vaccinated and to wear a mask and to physically distance.
President Joe Biden stated that it is important to mark the change on CDC vaccinations, and give an update on vaccinations from the White House Rose Garden. Mr. Biden said,”It’s a good day for the country.”
