Europe: The United Kingdom have recently recorded 104 new cases of monkeypox virus. The recent spike in cases raised the overall tally to 470 cases. Most of the cases have been detected in gay or bisexual men, as per the sources.
It is the biggest outbreak of disease beyond Africa. Out of the total cases in the United Kingdom, 99 percent have been recorded in men, while most of the people that have been infected are in London. The health authorities have stated that in despite of sexual orientation, individuals should avoid not physical contact with an infected person.
