As per the data shared by Asian News International (ANI), the article highlighted every protest that the nation has been dealing with. Protests over Pakistan’s regime-led land acquisition for the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor project are taking place in Gilgit-Baltistan (GB) (CPEC).

The Asian Lite story cited an article from the Pamir Times written by Engineer Abid Tashi on the state’s residents who had experienced power outages for the past three to four decades.

All of the protests that the country has been dealing with have been outlined in the report. Moreover, protests are being held in Gilgit Baltistan over Pakistanโ€™s regime-led land acquisition, which was basically done for the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) project.

In light of this, Asian Lite has published the news citing the Pamir Times, where Engineer Abid Tashi mentioned the experience of state residents with power outages during the previous three to four decades.

While in the South, Waziristan is the scene of sit-in protests despite discussions between tribal elders and the administration. After the discussions fell through, protests that lasted until January 10, 2023, urged the government to act against terrorism.

According to the Asian Lite report, over 8000 establishments were still shuttered, and transportation flow was nearly stopped as a result of the demonstrations.

Along with this, in the port city of Gwadar, which took place under the Gwadar Rights Movement leader, Maulana Hidayatur Rahman has demanded that Chinese ships must leave the port area, as per the Asian Lite report citing the Maritime Executive report.

Furthermore, the protesters have also made the announcement that they will pick up firearms if the administration continues to ignore their ongoing peaceful protests.
