MEP Brando Benifei highlighted the Google launched “Bard”, a new chatbot. He also mentioned that he had fun asking him some questions and the answers he gave him. Bard also “thinks” that artificial intelligence should be regulated to prevent possible abuse and not to limit people’s rights.
“Bard” is an experiment that gives inaccurate or inappropriate responses. It is also your creative and helpful collaborator to supercharge your imagination, boost your productivity, and bring your ideas to life.
These technologies are exciting that truly help people to translate deep research and breakthroughs into products. The journey we’ve been on with large language models.
In an Interview, Google executives said that Google tentatively stepped off the sidelines by releasing a chatbot called Bard. This new A.I. chatbot will be available to a limited number of users in the United States and Britain and will accommodate additional users, countries and languages over time.
According to the sources, Google executives have been working on an experimental conversational A.I. service powered by LaMDA called Bard. They are further taking another step forward by opening it up to trusted testers ahead of making it more widely available to the public in the coming weeks.
A former Google director of special projects, Adrian Aoun, stated, “It’s important that Google start to play in this space because this is where the world is headed.”
Google has been testing the technology underlying “Bard” since 2015 but has not released it beyond a small group of early testers. As chatbots offered by OpenAI and Microsoft it does not always generate trustworthy information and can show bias against women and people of colour.
Furthermore, MEP Benifei extended his update and said that the A.I. Act they have approved at the European Parliament and now negotiating with governments is an important first step in this direction. At the same time, it serves global action involving the world’s major countries and international organizations.
