The Embassy of Belgium in Greece and Cyprus has welcomed new staff members to assist in better managing ambassadorial affairs. The new members of staff are both hardworking women. The embassy extended the two women a very warm welcome to their establishment.
The embassy took to its social media account to share its excitement about welcoming the young women. The new appointment includes that of Flora Apostolidou. She is one of the new interns at the Embassy of Belgium to Greece and Cyprus. In the introductory post of the young intern, the Embassy of Belgium in Greece and Cyprus called her a dynamic young woman.
According to the update shared by the Embassy, Flora Apostolidou is currently studying Multilingual Communication at Université Libre de Bruxelles. The young woman will stay with the embassy of Belgium in Greece and Cyprus for the next four months.
During her 4-month stay, Flora will assist both the consular and social media teams. The embassy has asserted that the young woman is eager to learn about diplomacy, international relations and cultural exchange. Further, she has already gained insight into the Embassy services, online communication, and events of public diplomacy
.
She enjoys playing chess, board games, and modern dance in her free time. She is quite a polyglot as well. Flora is very excited to be part of the team and finds it “a unique privilege to discover more about the important role of an Embassy in all its aspects in the country of my cultural heritage.”
Meanwhile, the second appointment with the embassy staff is Alida Petroulaki. She has worked with the Embassy of Belgium in Greece and Cyprus since July. She would take the reins in a multi-functional administrative position.
She has a background with the Netherlands embassy, and her knowledge and experience come to good use in this diversified position where she has to tackle daily challenges.
Alida’s passions come to life as she harmonizes with her band, sculpts artistry in pottery classes, and cherishes moments with her loved ones. She is an avid traveller and reader who finds the greatest joy in life’s simplest pleasures.
