Brugge, Belgium: Club Brugge’s forward Antonio Nusa shines in his debut match for Norway. He received a call from the Norwegian National team for the first time to play against Jordan in a friendly preparation match.
The Brugge’s number 32 forward scored 1 goal, assisted 1, took four shots, completed four dribbles, created 3 chances (two big), won 9 duels, won 2/2 tackles, and made 11 ball recoveries. A significant contribution to a 6-0 win.
It was a dream debut for Antonio Nusa in National team, winning the match with a goal and fantastic playmaking for 73 minutes. The Premier League clubs Arsenal and Liverpool are both interested in Antonio Nusa from Club Brugge, who recently rejected a chance to join Chelsea.
Martin Ødegaard, the Norwegian playing for Arsenal FC as a midfielder, shared his opinion about the young talent Antonio Nusa, Chelsea’s favourite player to be signed.
He said, “Fantastic! He is a fascinating player. You see it, everything he gets the ball, it’s exciting. He is still young and will get even better. It was cool to see him. He deserved to get the chance that he takes it to such an extent. Incredibly cool”.
“He must continue as he has done. Work hard, and be humble. He’s a nice boy. Very calm and nice type. It’s going to be just fine. He has to enjoy the football and continue to deliver as he does. Then it will be good.”
Although he rejected the club’s offer to join, the Chelsea scouts will keep tracking him in the following months. The bid was expected to be around €30m package.
Antonio Nusa arrived in Brugge in 2021 when he was just 16 years old. He made 33 appearances and 3 goals in his first year. Playing in Norway U-21, Nusa received first call from the Norwegian National team and scored on his debut. Norway dominated Jordan, scoring six goals.
