MEP Anna Cinzia Bonfrisco expressed that burning sacred texts of the Torah, the Bible in Sweden is an intolerable gesture of hate. She also mentioned that authorizing the burning of the Torah, the Bible, or any other sacred text in Sweden is not freedom of thought and expression but a vulgar offence to the religious feelings of believers.ย
Through the update, MEP Bonfrisco entitled the burning of the Torah, the Bible, as a deliberate act of hatred contrary to the teachings of love and mutual respect contained in those pages.ย
