Uganda: Program Management Enthusiast Mutebe Henry from Kampala, Uganda, wishes people the Christmas and New Year holidays.
He took to his official social media account and mentioned in the statement, “Happy holidays, people. My Christmas was the best in the last seven years.”
On Christmas eve, his mother hosted his friend Selli as well as her Husband from Germany. Mutebe Henry said it’s interesting how the internet can be used for good. He met Selli on Humans of New York, and she promised that he would come to Uganda.
Henry also told her she was always welcome to the pearl of Africa. They arrived on 23rd and are currently enjoying Uganda. They brought lots of presents for them.
They had a Christmas party for the kids of Henry’s village. There were lots of candy as well as fun games.
Along with this, their daughter was gifted with one of the best books anyone can buy an eight-year-old girl. The book is called “Good night stories for Rebel Girls.”
It’s a collection of 100 real-life stories of great black women from across the world who have beaten the odds to make it big.
That book is a very inspiring read, not just for young girls but adults too. It even has a Ugandan lady in there. A very nice read for our girl. He mentioned that he was going to borrow it from her and be the first to read it.
On top of this, Santa brought all the gifts on the wish list of their kids. They now believe Santa is real. They have promised to be on their best behaviour this year so Santa can bring more gifts next Christmas.
He was also gifted the book he had wished to land for over a year. It’s called Humans by Brandon Stanton of the famed Humans of New York. Henry said he couldn’t have asked for anything better. It was so thoughtful of Selli.
Furthermore, Mutebe Henry stated, “My mother and management also got lots of presents. We were so overjoyed our Christmas couldn’t have been any better.”
