Belgium achieved a plastic packaging recycling rate of 54% in 2022, securing the second spot among European Union countries, just behind Slovakia, according to data published Thursday by Eurostat
The statistics reveal that individuals who grew up in stable financial conditions in Belgium have a 7.7% chance of falling into poverty later in life. Alarmingly, this figure rises to 20.1% for those who experienced poverty during their childhood, resulting in a stark 12.4 percentage point difference
About 25,930 of the Ukrainians received temporary protection in the kingdom of Belgium. The authorities have allowed them to stay for a period of one year, access to health care, labour market, and benefits, as per the information revealed by Eurostat.
