Following a three-day worker strike that resulted in the cancellation of 315 flights, Brussels Airlines has planned to cancel close to 700 flights during the course of the summer vacation.
The airline company made an announcement on Tuesday that the Brussels Airlines crew and pilots will proceed on a three-day strike from Thursday, June 23, till June 25. The preliminary cancellation of 315 flights, including 38 long-haul flights.
Belgium's most significant airline Brussels Airlines, has confirmed that it will be cancelling 148 flights to and from European destinations this summer in a move to calm the employees who threatened a three-day strike during its busiest period.
