Four months ago, Raven Gates, an alum of Bachelor in Paradise tied the knot with her boyfriend, Adam Gottschalk. The pair dated for about two years after season 4 of ‘Bachelor in Paradise’ and now they are expecting.
Raven Gates, 30 sat for an interview with ‘PEOPLE’ and said, “It’s so exciting, we found out right after the wedding. I’ve wanted to be a mom for a long time.”
The star blushed and further stated, “And I always imagined creating a family with someone I love so much. And expanding my love with Adam into a human, I can’t even imagine!”
Gates revealed that has no nausea issues, but she experienced ‘some food aversions. Also, Raven admits, “And the lack of energy is probably what I’ve struggled with the most. It’s tough.”
Meanwhile, Raven’s husband, Adam, 31, also shared and noted that he is completely thrilled about the new addition.
He mentioned, “It’s all great and I’m excited, but I’m also glad the baby doesn’t come right away. I have nine months to get ready!”
Raven shared her pregnancy news via her Instagram and wrote, “OVER THE MOON EXCITED TO SHARE THE NEWS! Our Honeymoon baby will be here in January! 🥰. I’ve loved you before you were in my womb!”
Raven also claimed that she and her husband have not yet found the gender of the baby, but she is preparing herself for a sound and healthy journey.
The pair completed the carrier screening with Invitae, an at-home medical genetic testing service.
She states, “Adam and I both agreed that we wanted to do genetic testing. We wanted to have as much knowledge as possible about issues that may come up or diseases we may be carrying. It’s really important. And it was super easy.”
Raven is also in touch with Ashley Iaconetti, her fellow ‘Paradise’ alum, and said, “Ashley and I have been DMing each other about all things baby. We’re going through different things. And we’re not due that far apart!”
On July, 15, Ashley and her husband, Haibon also shared that they are soon going to be Parents.
