A group of travel bloggers, CVCHS Switzerland, France, and Italy 2023, have recently shared their experience visiting Milan, Italy. They explored the city and took a tour of the Duomo, an Italian term for a church that serves as a cathedral or has cathedral-like features.
On the eighth day of their European tour, the travel group made their way to Milan. After indulging in a delightful Italian breakfast, they quickly headed to the city centre, conveniently accessible via a short bus ride.
Furthermore, they proceeded to walk towards the Duomo. Gil, a tourist guide, guided them towards the amazing castle and other popular tourist spots in Milan. As they entered the castle, everyone made their way to the loft entrance and climbed up to the top of the basilica.
Along with this, they shared the best spot in that place from where the visitors can enjoy a breathtaking view of both the intricate details of the basilica and the city of Milan.
Meanwhile, the travel group made their way down the stairs from the basilica’s top, and they were fascinated by the awe-inspiring frescos, intricate stained glass, and stunning wood and stonework that adorned the main basilica.
After thoroughly exploring every corner of the basilica, they enjoyed five-and-a-half hours to discover Milan’s many wonders. They also indulged in every event the city had to offer:
- Visiting other basilicas
- Sampling delicious food and gelato
- Shopping
- Checking out the Starbucks reserve and discovering the castle
Additionally, they extended their suggestion to visit Milan (renowned for its exceptional restaurants and food specialities that perfectly embody Italian culture and cuisine) and enjoy their time in any restaurant in Milan as they have plenty of restaurants like them.
They also revealed their plans for tomorrow. The travel group will head to Veronica and Venice for their European tour.
