Solomon: The Governments of Solomon Islands and Japan have signed an Exchange of Notes and Grant Agreement for a project to implement the expansion and improvement of the Kilu’ufi hospital in Malaita Province.
Washington: The United States on Monday clarified that they currently have no intentions of including additional members to the Quadrilateral Security Dialogue (QUAD).
India, Delhi: During their bilateral meeting on Monday at Hyderabad House, Prime Minister Narendra Modi expressed gratitude to Prime Minister Fumio Kishida for inviting him to attend the G7 Summit in Japan later this year. The Indian PM also mentioned the invitation during a joint press statement, where he acknowledged the Japanese leader's invitation to the G7 Leaders' Summit in Hiroshima in May.
Japan: The joint air defence exercise between the Indian Air Force (IAF) and the Japan Air Self Defence Force (JASDF), referred to as Exercise' Veer Guardian 2023', came to an end on January 26 in Japan. The objective of the exercise was to foster friendly relations between the IAF and the JASDF and to strengthen air defence collaboration between the two air forces.
