Lyon, France: The French Police yesterday crackdown a protest carried out by Hamas supporters in Lyon waving Palestine Flag, expressing their support for the success of the surprise military operation against Israel.

The law officers used tear gas and batons to disperse the protesters in Lyon. The Pro Palestine protests also occurred in the capital, Paris. The protesters gathered to express their support for Palestine, waving the flag and vocalising anti-Israel chants.
Avoiding further disturbance across the capital, the Paris Police Headquarters has prohibited the demonstration in support of Palestine scheduled for October 12 and declared that strict actions will be taken against the individuals who try to violate the law, including arrests.
The Israel-Palestine conflict has sparked tensions in Western Capitals. Several supporters of Hamas supporters hit the streets, disturbing the local peace.
Instead of France, Pro-Palestine rallies were staged in the UK, Australia and the US. Over 5,000 pro-Palestine gathered in front of Israel’s embassy in London, chanting anti-Islraeli slogans.
The Western countries showed their unshakable support for Israel, opposing the terrorism raised by Hamas in Israel.
To demonstrate solidarity with Israel, famous structures like Eiffel Tower in Paris, Palace of Westminster in England, Empire State Building in New York City, and Brandenburg Gate in Germany were lit up in white and blue, the Israeli flag colours.
Much of the world is standing by the side of Israel as the country embarks on one of the most severe wars in its history.
On Saturday, October 7, Hamas launched a surprise attack on Israel when the country was celebrating Shemini Atzeret, a holiday.
They launched a deadly attack on Israel’s civilian population by land, water, sea, and even hang gliders. The estimated Israeli casualties in this conflict are expected to be over 900.
