The average number of COVID-19 patients admitted to the health care centre in Belgium has decreased to below 100 for the first time since mid-October in the previous year, while all other indicators continue to decline.
The actual number of new Covid-19 cases being recorded on a daily basis in Belgium has decreased to around 6,000, while the number of new hospitalisations has dropped below 200.
The meeting of the Consultative Committee will not go ahead on Friday, as the figures do not yet allow Belgium’s latest Covid-19 measures to be reconsidered.
