New Delhi [India]: Sources have revealed that India has brought to the attention of Canadian authorities the plight of Indian students who are facing deportation. External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar has also discussed the matter with his Canadian counterpart. The authorities have been urged numerous times to act fairly since the students are not responsible for their situation.
New Delhi, INDIA: The Canadian High Commissioner in India, Cameron MacKay, denounced the events during which the assassination of former Indian Prime Minister Indira Gandhi was celebrated in Canada. MacKay stated that he was totally appalled by reports of the event that celebrated Indira Gandhi’s killing incident.
