Thai Airways has resumed daily direct flights between Brussels and Bangkok, reestablishing a vital route suspended during the COVID-19 pandemic. This marks the only direct connection between Belgium and Thailand, boosting tourism, trade, and cultural exchanges

This decision comes in response to an ongoing dispute with the German government over a proposed increase in air taxes, which Ryanair claims will make flights within Germany more expensive compared to other European destinations

Taking place at the VDAB training center located at Cyriel Buyssestraat 15, the fair will run from 11:00 AM to 4:30 PM. A diverse lineup of approximately 100 employers and training partners will be present, showcasing their job offerings and educational initiatives

As a result of the evacuation, passengers and aircrew were initially asked to wait within the terminal. Many were barred from accessing the baggage hall and some were not allowed to disembark from their flights to prevent overcrowding at immigration

“July has always been a peak travel month, but this year we saw an unprecedented rise in the number of passengers. It’s a clear sign that people are eager to travel again, making up for lost time during the pandemic,” said Arnaud Feist, CEO of Brussels Airport Company
