New Delhi [India]: Bhutan King, Jigme Khesar Namgyel Wangchuck, is on India tour for three days, and India Prime Minister Narendra Modi received him on Tuesday (04--4-23) ahead of their bilateral ties.

Srinagar- The Indian Government intends to establish a regional National Institute of Virology in Jammu & Kashmir as a measure to enhance research on pandemics. Originally, the regional NIV for the northern region was meant to be set up in Chandigarh.

India, Delhi: During their bilateral meeting on Monday at Hyderabad House, Prime Minister Narendra Modi expressed gratitude to Prime Minister Fumio Kishida for inviting him to attend the G7 Summit in Japan later this year. The Indian PM also mentioned the invitation during a joint press statement, where he acknowledged the Japanese leader's invitation to the G7 Leaders' Summit in Hiroshima in May.
