Russia launched a volley of 36 missiles in an attack on Lviv, a city in western Ukraine, on the night of July 6. The missiles were fired from six carriers comprising three surface vessels and three submarines.
As per the reports, a missile of Russian origin impacted Lviv’s civilian infrastructure, resulting in the loss of four lives, and 34 were injured during the attack. The attack caused significant damage to approximately 30 residential buildings, 50 vehicles, and critical infrastructure at the same time.

Following the Russian act of aggression and crimes committed on Ukrainian soil, the Organisation for Security and Co-operation in Europe Parliamentary Assembly adopted the declaration in which it called Russia a ‘state sponsor of the Wagner terrorist group’.
It stated that the actions of the Wagner Group approved and ordered by the Russian Government, can rightly be characterized as ‘terroristic‘. It is emphasized that President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin publicly admitted that the Wagner Group had been “fully funded by the Russian State”.
The declaration mandates that OSCE participating States take immediate and decisive action against the Wagner Group and its affiliated entities. This includes the crucial step of designating them as terrorist organizations.
