MEP Asim Ademov attends National Convention of Folk Art and Animal Husbandry “Rozhen” 2023

MEP Asim Ademov attended the opening of the National Convention of Folk Art and Animal Husbandry “Rozhen” 2023, the largest cultural event in the country, along with Smolyan, Nikolay Melemov and the municipality’s mayor.

He also mentioned that he was pleased to chatter with the cosmic voice of the Rhodope Mountain Valya Balkanska.

According to the post shared by MEP Ademov on his official Facebook account, The Cathedral of Rozhen, built 125 years ago, it is today a symbol of unity and patriotism, a source of the national spirit.

As per the sources, Nearly 4,000 performers from all over the country will appear on Friday, Saturday and Sunday at Rozhenski Polyani.

Furthermore, MEP Ademov extended his update and stated, “Thousands of people across the country can see how today’s artisans preserve folk traditions and breathe new life into them.
Here are quality farm-based dairy and meat products that give the small producer a chance to survive.”

Many exhibitions present military art from more than a century ago and interesting artifacts related to Bulgarian history and the anniversaries celebrated at the assembly – 125 years since its beginning, 111 years since the Liberation of the Rhodopes and 120 years since the Ilinden-Transfiguration Uprising.

On his birthday, one of the Bulgarian social media users, Anna Kemilova, took to the comment section and stated, “It’s wonderful. I’m on my birthday! PILONA, however, it’s too much for me. It’s put in the wrong place. Right in the middle, that altitude push. There has always been a flag of Rozhen on some hill. In many places, they still collect donations for the pillar. Hey, some didn’t eat it!”

While another social media user, Maria Glaveva, appreciated the efforts of MEP Asim Ademov and commented, “Very good! Have a good time!”
