Belgium all set to welcome summer festival Tomorrowland

Belgium is all set to welcome the famous summer festival Tomorrowland. The Embassy of Belgium stated, “Summer may still feel far away, but here is an activity you can already start looking forward to. In July, the 17th edition of the ‘world’s best music festival’, Belgium‘s famous Tomorrowland, will take place.”

Tomorrowland is an annual outdoor electronic music festival held in the town of Boom, near Antwerp. It was first held in 2005 and is usually spread out over two weekends in the summer. It hosts a huge line-up of top-level international DJ’s and welcomes tens of thousands of partygoers from around the globe, including many Chinese visitors. Because of its immense popularity, tickets are usually sold out within seconds.

Tomorrowland has won many accolades and awards, being voted as the world’s best music festival twice by DJ Mag magazine and the best musical event of the year at the International Dance Music Awards five times in a row.

To many, Tomorrowland is more than a festival. It’s a unique and immersive experience. Aside from hosting the biggest names in electronic music, the festival is also known for its incredibly elaborate decorations and performances, which only add to its magical feeling.

The symbol and icon of the festival is its main stage, which is considered the largest and most elaborate of any festival in the world. Its design changes every year according to a chosen theme. 2022 saw the largest ever stage – 270 meters wide and 53 meters high.

Another thing that makes Tomorrowland special is its tight-knit community. There is a real sense of conviviality and communal love for music, which draws visitors back year after year.

This year, the festival will take place on the weekends of 21-23 July and 28-30 July 2023. For the first time ever, Tomorrowland has issued a digital booklet that allows you to deep-dive into this year’s theme: “Adscendo”. The line-up consists of more than 600 artists who will be performing across 15 stages.

Worldwide ticket sales began on Feb. 4, and tickets are already sold out. However, you can still try your luck by joining the waiting list.
