Amid downtrend in COVID-19 situation, several EU/EEA nations lifts entry rules

By looking at the current situation of the COVID-19 as well as the high vaccination rates, several European Union/European Economic Area nations have already lifted their entry rules and regulations for all the individuals travelling from the third countries.

The number of the EU/EEA countries that have relaxed their measures as well as not permitted restriction-free entry to non-EU travelers is as follows:

The travelers from the non-EU nations can currently enter the 11 EU/EEA countries despite their vaccination status.

Moreover, this means that the non-EU travelers are not needed to present a valid COVID Pass, a vaccination, recovery, or test certificate at the time when reaching one of the countries which have lifted up all of the entry restrictions.

All of the people travelling can now hold on to the essential travel documents, including a valid passport and a visa if it is necessary.

Along with this, in spite of being permitted restriction-free entry to these nations, the travelers that are non-EU will no longer have to worry about the domestic COVID-19 measures, as the maximum number of them has already relaxed.

The travelers from the third nations and the people travelling within the EU are no longer needed to hold a vaccination, recovery, or test certificate when accessing bars, cafes, restaurants, museums, theatres, shopping centers, as well as the other significant events.

Meanwhile, the rest of the nations that are mentioned, Greece will also soon be removed its entry restrictions for the third-country travelers.

The Greek Minister of Health named, Thanos Plevris, mentioned in the statement that all the travelers, regardless of their country of origin, would be permitted restriction-free entry from May 2.

Furthermore, the same has been stated that except from permitting restriction-free entry to incoming travelers, they would also relax the domestic COVID-19 measures. The travelers reaching Greece during the summer season will not be needed to hold the valid COVID-19 proof when accessioning different public places as well as events.
