‘Tales of Arise’ will hit Xbox One and PS4 in 2020: Reports

Bandai Namco’s Tales series was first launched on the Super Famicom in the year 1995, and the game is one of the longest-running RPG series in the history of gaming.  On Sunday, Microsoft during the E3 keynote announced that the “dynamic action RPG” will receive the next sequel in 2020. Microsoft did not share enough details of the upcoming game.

Dubbed Tales of Arise will be the sequel to the 2017’s Tales of Berseria. The game will offer an all-new combat system that will enhance the gameplay of the Dubbed Tales of Arise.  Over the past 24 years the gameplay of the series has lived up to the expectations of all its fans and players and the company is putting efforts to maintain the same in coming years.

Details of the release leaked online ahead of the official announcement. Per those leaks, the story takes place on the planet Dahna. “Stories handed down for generations became truth and masked reality for the people of Dahna,” the release states. “For 300 years, Rena has ruled over Dahna, pillaging the planet of its resources and stripping people of their dignity and freedom. Our tale begins with two people, born in different worlds, each looking to change their fate and create a new future.”

A few screenshots that went viral over the internet along with the leak hinted that the series would get a major visual overhaul with realistic-looking environments. The game will also get more realistic-looking environments with animated graphics to make it better than before. The game is scheduled to arrive on PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
